**This class is recommended to take prior to taking sign painting classes & workshops. In this class, we will discuss the basic fundamentals for starting to signpaint. Including, what supplies are needed, how to prepare, paint and protect sign paint. This class is mostly lecture based with rotating stations and showcasing examples of different types of sign paint. Students will not paint completed art pieces. No supplies are necessary, please make sure to wear clothes that are ok to get paint on. The class will consist of lecture discussing the below. - How to prepare varying surfaces to paint - Painting on exterior walls, textured surfaces, wood, glass, metal, etc. - Preparing pattern for different scales to sign paint - What order to paint the design - Painting techniques for different looks - How to protect finished sign paint. Studio doors will open 30 minutes prior to class starting. Students will be able to continue to ask questions and practice at the paint stations up to 1 hour after class ends. This class is for ages 15 and up. All students under 18 years old, must be accompanied by an adult. Questions about this class? If you are unable to attend or are a "no show", you will not be refunded your payment and we are unable to add you to another class. All bookings of classes are final sale, non-transferrable and valid for the class booked for the specific date and time. If NicSon LLC cancels a class for any reason, the client will have the option to reschedule. Release of Liability When you are booking the class and or attending the class, you release and hold harmless, NicSon Design Studio, its owners and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of NicSon Design Studio/Mercantile owners and operators or in route to or from said premises. Photos are taken throughout the class and are used for promotional purposes on social media and em
